Henry Barlow Carter (1804-1868) - Beverley Minster
An architectural study of the gothic church Beverley Minster in East Riding, Yorkshire. Henry Barlow Carter, although renowned for his seascapes of nearby Scarborough and Whitby, also produced various drawings of everyday Victorian life and the buildings that were part of this. Beverley Minster was a regular source of Carter's inspiration with various drawings by him on this subject known to exist.
