Sir Charles Walters D'Oyly (1822-1900) - The Fort and Barracks at Lausanne
Sir Charles Walters D'Oyly is known today for his military achievements (including becoming Major-General in the Bengal Army and serving the British East India Company) but he was also an accomplished amateur artist. His watercolours from his time in India are particularly sought after.
